The Bronze Bead offers

beadweaving and bead embroidery includes unique beads, pearls, and
stones. This freeform jewelry is inspired by nature, created
with needle and thread and makes a statement. These focal
pieces, are essential for any wardrobe displaying fashion
forward individuality.
Beading is my passion and it is the best medium for my
creativity. Beading is like painting for me ,each piece is a
work of art. Nature has always been an inspiration to me and
I try to capture some of its beauty in my jewelry. Each
necklace or earring can easily transform your wardrobe, as a
statement piece or as an accent piece.
I bead with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, in a
slow rhythmic pace. Its very peaceful for me. Ideas and
visions seem to flow as I work. I love the feel of the beads
in my hands, they themselves seem to say they want to be a
part of the design. Just feel one of my pieces in your hand.
My designs are never planned ahead, they freeform. The
beauty of nature in both Connecticut and Southwest Florida have been
sources of inspiration, whether it be the bark of a tree,
the iridescence of a hummingbirds wings, an orchid, or the
serenity of a tidal pool. I always feel at peace when
beading. Beading is my passion.
I have been involved in art all my life. All through school,
art was a major focus, in college I was an art major. I
learned to sew at the age of 8 and made my own clothes. I
worked for a clothing manufacturer for many years in the
design department, focusing on textile design and
colorations. Through knitting I found beading and it has
been my true love ever since. I bead daily. The bronze beads
are my absolute favorite!
